Science stream is a popular stream amongst the students, apart from that even for most of the parents, science stream is the most popular choice. Moreover, in India the craze for Engineering and Medical streams are much higher within the students, this leads to making science a popular choice for students and parents as well.
Moreover, the science stream is also considered as a versatile stream because of the various career options that can be pursued with a science background, however, one can pursue any career from any other stream may it be commerce, humanities, fine arts or any other, thus we consider science as a versatile stream.
One thing is always advised to the students while taking up a career after the completion of their board exams, to always follow their interest, and pursue the career which follows their passion and interest. I have already emphasized the importance of consultation with a career counsellor before taking up anything, this benefits in providing a clear image and a fixed goal.
